SHIPPENSBURG – Shippensburg University has developed an app that makes it easier for students to stay in touch with their school and events.
The app, called “Ship Mobile” allows students to look up classes, view athletic schedules, watch videos and stay up to date on University news.
The app includes a feed to the University’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
With more than 7,000 users, students, staff and faculty use their university email to log into the app.
The university made the app in 2013 after conducting several focus groups.
Feedback from students is already being used to improve the app, with could potentially be used in the future for printing.
