SHIPPENSBURG- Come fall students may be reaching deeper into their pockets if a new tuition pilot program is passed. Shippensburg Council of Trustees unanimously voted in favor of the new tuition of Friday January 30th. The proposal would charge in-state undergraduate students by credit instead of a flat rate tuition. Trustees would use the plan to help close a funding gap brought on by Ship’s shrinking budget in recent years. Since 2003 Shippensburg had to cut four million dollars out of their budget.
