When travelers visit Shippensburg’s campus, seeking overnight accommodations is now easier. Thanks to the S.U. Foundation and several other donors, the mission of building a select-service hotel is a success. The project cost came in at approximately $15 million between land and construction expenses. The room designs offer energy-efficient working environments and a spacious layout.
“From day one, Courtyard has prided itself as a brand that listens to business travelers,” said Callette Nielsen, vice president and global brand manager, Courtyard. “Today’s technology has changes how people travel. Our guests want a room that has purpose and flexibility that enables a seamless transition between relaxing and working. Courtyard is designed to offer them a relaxing and functional space to work the way they want to, when they want to.”
Visitors can now stay minutes away from campus while enjoying gorgeous views from their hotel window. Rates begin at $119 per night.
