SHIPPENSBURG – The Grace B. Luhrs Elementary School held their semiannual book fair this week. It brought not only elementry kids inspired to read but also college students looking to benefit their future. Elizabeth Orseno, the Luhrs librarian, set a goal of $4300. If that goal is met, then the principal, Mr. Smith, will be slimed during an upcoming assembly in front of the kids. The book fair is also a hot spot for Shippensburg University education majors. They are looking to build their library for their future classrooms. A percentage of all profit made during the book fair will be given as credit to the library to expand their collection.
