Students shine light on the darkness of the Paris shootings

The terrorist attacks in Paris had an impact around the world and it has inspired vigils all over the world, even in Shippensburg.

The United Campus Ministry held a vigil Tuesday, November 17 in memory of the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks. Students and faculty came together hoping to spread awareness and peace.

Campus Minister, Jan Bye, organized the vigil.”It’s good to see that folks care enough, and say I want my world to be a better place.”

The vigil was full of poems and music with the theme of ending violence across the world.
