SHIPPENSBURG – When college students’ wallets go empty, the Women’s Consortium on campus helps students out.

The Emergency Fund’s ultimate goal is to give students small grants to keep them in school. They have helped students find places to sleep at night, food when they haven’t eaten in days and money to go out and buy necessities. The money comes from fundraisers around campus and as the money comes in, it goes out in an as need basis. To request help, contact any member of the Women’s Consortium listed below.

Dr. Barbara Denison, Student Emergency Fund Chair

Dr. Corrine Bertram, President

Dr. Linda Chalk, Vice President

Dr. Rose Merrell-James, Secretary

Ms. Brenda Minges, Treasurer

Ms. Sarah McDowell, Communications Coordinator

Ms. Stephanie Erdice, Women’s Center Director

Dr. Rebecca Ward, Women’s & Gender Studies Director
