Campus turned from fall to spring on Tuesday afternoon. Students, Faculty, and supporters alike arrived to plant tulips in honor of victims of domestic intimate abuse.
The event had a large turnout and many stepped up. While people planted, others shared, giving stories of their own experiences as well as statistics on the topic for those who couldn’t be there.
PLANTERS WROTE WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT OF THE CAUSE ON Planters wrote words of encouragement and support of the cause paper tulips. In addition, a poster was made depicting the words of encouragement from all who were in support of the cause.
For additional information on how you can help with this cause, contact the campus’ women center or go to the ship says no more website.
