SHIPPENSBURG- On Thursdays during the football season, the second floor of Knute’s Pub and Grill becomes the meeting place for Red Raider fans to talk football with Coach Mac.
The weekly event has been a popular tradition since 2011 that brings in an average of around 60 people. Coach Mac, along with offensive coordinator J.C. Morgan, go over game footage from last week, talk about the team’s improvements, and preview the Red Raiders’ next opponent.
Regardless if the Red Raiders win or lose, Coach Mac is committed to keeping the Shippensburg community involved with the team. To him, the entire community is one big family.
“If we want to get people to our games, and we want people to be interested in us, we got to make sure we provide them with some material to get interested in,” said Coach Mac.
The event takes place every Thursday around 6:30 at Knute’s Pub and Grill, located at 15 W. King Street in downtown Shippensburg.
