The Lady Raiders matched Coach Kristy Trn’s longest winning streak of 14 games.

SHIPPENSBURG –The Lady Raiders posted their 14th straight victory Wednesday night defeating Lock Haven 69 to 53. With the win, Shippensburg has matched coach Kristy Trn’s longest winning streak of 14 games from the 2000-2001 season.
The Raiders trailed the Bald Eagles through the first quarter, but strong defense and a dominant offense led Shippensburg to outscore Lock Haven 21 to 10 in the second quarter and never looked back.
Shippensburg’s dominate offense was led by senior Colleen Young who recorded a season high of 22 points shooting 6 for 10, with 8 points coming from the free throw line, senior Logan Snyder who shot 7 for 8 on the night scoring 17 points, and graduate Stephanie Knauer who made 6 of 8 shots scoring 14 points.
Shippensburg will put their streak on the line against Mansfield Saturday at 1 P.M. Support the Lady Raiders by wearing pink for free admission for the “Play 4 Kay” event to help raise breast cancer awareness.
