SHIPPENSBURG- The Cora I. Grove Spiritual Center on Shippensburg University’s campus holds many events. The Center has office space for meetings, campus ministries and religious organizations.
Shippensburg University has opened a food pantry available to all students. Please bring your student ID and speak to the student manager, Rev. Jan Bye or Roxanne Dennis for assistance. The food pantry’s is open Monday through Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
Mindfulness Meditation is a series that is free and open to all students, staff and faculty. They meet Tuesdays from 12- 1 p.m. in the mediation room. Beginners are welcomed. For more information, contact Dr. Tomoko Grabosky at 717-477-1481 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Thursday’s, The Catholic Campus Ministry has rosary and refreshments at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Sydney Schrackat email@example.com.
The United Campus Ministry has grilled cheese and Bible study on Wednesday’s in the conference room in the Spiritual Center at 7 p.m. In addition, the United Campus Ministry also hosts game night at 6:30 p.m. on Friday nights. Everyone is welcome and they encourage students to come and bring a friend.
The Spiritual Center is located on Spiritual Center Drive.
Hours of operation (during the school year) are:
Monday-Friday: 8 am – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
