SHIPPENSBURG- The Shippensburg football team suited up for Spring Practice on Tuesday. This is the first time the Red Raiders have practiced since November of last year.
Spring Practice gives the coaching staff the opportunity to evaluate players and to correct mistakes from last season. Coach Mac uses Spring Practice to lay the foundation for the upcoming season
“We approach (Spring Practice) like the season,” said Coach Mac. “That’s how we run our practices, that’s how we conduct our drills and things like that.”
Coach Mac wants to see his players to compete, play with passion, and have fun playing during Spring Practice.
The Red Raiders will hold 14 practices over the next four weeks. Spring Practice concludes with the annual ‘Red-White Game’ on April 15th at Seth Grove Stadium.
Kickoff is at 11 a.m.
