Exercise Links to Better Stuying

SHIPPENSBURG– There are many benefits to exercising. Losing weight, maintaining weight, staying healthy and so much more. Exercise also helps students thrive in school. Exercise improves memory and attention. It helps us think better by stimulating new brain cell growth. Exercise will brighten moods, improve sleep patterns and build self confidence.

One 30 minute cardio session pumps extra blood to the brain which delivers the oxygen and nutrients it needs to perform at max efficiency. Exercise will help deal with daily stresses. With the increase of overall mental well being, students will be able to perform better in their studies.

Just like brushing your teeth, exercise becomes a necessary part of everyday life. Both your body and mind need physical activity to function at its peak. A strong body leads to a strong mind.
