SHIPPENSBURG — Ship senior Jake Kennedy broke this season’s record for both home runs and RBIs. During the final game of the regular season Kennedy hit his 21st of the season, making it his 40th home run overall.
Kennedy has also clocked in over half a hundred RBIs this season. A total of 65 for the year.
Shippensburg baseball looks to take the momentum that Kennedy has provided and transform it into a PSAC tournament victory. So far, this year’s record in conference play is the best it has ever been, landing the Raiders the highest seed in the PSACs since 2012.
The Raiders look to take on Slippery Rock Wednesday at 9:30 am in their first PSAC tournament game of the season.
