Gain experience with REAL employers over Fall Break
By Jake Rohm
SHIPPENSBURG – Shippensburg University will be launching their second Job Shadow Program over Fall Break on October 16th and 17th.
The program gives students a chance to consider occupations in their particular profession. Students will be paired with employers and get real life experience of their future workplace.
Victoria Kerr, Director of the Career and Community Engagement Center, is in charge of the Job Shadow Program. Kerr launched the first program last semester over Spring Break, having 23 students participate. The Spring program was a huge success, leading to full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.
