SHIPPENSBURG– Shippensburg University’s Activities Program Board (APB) and Student Government Association (SGA) have banded together and have been hosting fundraisers for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Their efforts began with a tie-dying t-shirt sale outside the cub the week of October 30th. They sold shirts with the saying “Wish upon a ship” and allowed students to tie-dye them as they pleased.
The Student Government Association plans to can outside Heiges Field House before the fall concert featuring performances by Andy Grammer and Jesse McCartney.
According to Crystal Hartmen, Vice President of SGA, they are trying to join forces with Grammer and McCartney to reach their goal of $10,000. McCartney is a big supporter of the Make-A-Wish foundation, and both organizations are hopeful.
