SHIPPENSBURG-The 31st Annual MLK March for Humanity event went under way this afternoon with a full house in attendance.
The event kicked off with multiple speeches from faculty, students, special guests and even one from Shippensburg University President Dr. Laurie Carter. Each one spoke highly of Dr. King’s message for equality and unity.
Before the group marched, there were multiple musical performances by faculty and students. The group took the march to the campus streets where they marched from Old Main to Reisner Hall.
