SHIPPENSBURG- The Vagina Monologues have returned to Shippensburg University. The award winning play by Eve Ensler is back to spread awareness, trample taboos, and bring power to genitalia.
Female Ship students will be featured in the performance bringing life to women’s stories from around the world. Co-directors, Ali Laughman and Kayla Bethea, announced that their theme for this year was sexual assault due to recent events happen in our society. They also expressed how proud they are of their cast for working so hard and bringing something a little different to the monologues. Although not every audience member will walk away a deep impression as the directors would like, they are sure each will walk out of the auditorium with a smile.
The performance will run from February 15th to 17th in Memorial Auditorium at 7pm.
