Dr. Jonathan Reynolds will be hosting a lecture, What the Burrito Tells Us About World History.
Reynolds is a History professor at Northern Kentucky University. He specializes in African and World History and has published numerous books including World in Motion: A Dynamic History of Humankind and Trading Tastes: Culture and Commodity to 1750, both of which were co-written by Dr. Erik Gilbert.
Reynolds will be discussing its importance and impact throughout history.
He has won numerous teaching awards, he wants to help students realize that history isn’t all memorization, but its seeing how we’ve gotten to where we are today.
There will also be a burrito bar held before the lecture at Reisner Dining Hall featuring foods of Latin and Central America.
Dinner is $10 for the public, and students can use their meal plans to attend.
