SHIPPENSBURG – Every year, the Women’s Center hosts many events in the month of April to honor sexual assault awareness month.
Among these events, the Women’s Center is holding The Clothesline Project next week in the cub. The project is to address the issue of violence against women. Composed of shirts made by survivors of violence or people who want to honor someone who has experienced violence, the project aims to educate and spread awareness of sexual assault.
This past week, students were able to go to the Women’s Center to decorate their own t-shirts. These shirts will be displayed through the CUB from Monday to Thursday.
Don’t forget to tune in next week to see more about the project.
