Kyle Rogers, Class of 2012


Kyle Rogers graduated from Shippensburg University in December of 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications. During his time at SU, Kyle was very involved in SUTV. His work as an SUTV anchor and producer landed him recognition by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is a two-time College Emmy-nominated anchor and producer.

Today, you can find Kyle working as a multi-media journalist at WHP-TV, CBS 21 News in Harrisburg. Kyle interned at WHP-TV before reporting.


Evan Forrester, Class of 1986


Evan Forrester is a 1986 graduate of Shippensburg University and has enjoyed a long career in broadcasting, earning several Emmy awards and nominations. In 1994, he joined FOX43 as the main co-anchor. Today he anchors WPMT-FOX43 news at 4, 5, and 10 p.m.

Prior to that, he bounced around the country working for TV stations WOAY in West Virginia; WFMZ in Allentown; WPBF in Florida; WHP in Harrisburg; and KMOV in St. Louis.

In 2000, Shippensburg University’s Communications/Journalism Department awarded Evan the Outstanding Alumnus Award for professional achievement. He currently serves as a member of the advisory board of both Shippensburg University’s College of Arts and Sciences and Communications/Journalism Department.
